Crime – be vigilant!

On 08/11/2020 at 15:22hrs an unknown female offender has approached a property on Weston Road, Lichfield and stolen parcels that have been delivered to the doorstep.

If you have seen or heard anything regarding this matter please contact Staffordshire Police via 101 quoting Serial 614 08/11/2020.

Online shopping has made it so convenient to buy any number of things, and as nice as it is getting something delivered to your door in a matter of days there will come a time when you won’t be around to receive a package. A package sitting in front of your house is an easy target or theft.

If you know you are not going to be in, consider one of these steps to prevent doorstep package theft:
– Go onto your order and request your parcel to be put in a ‘safe place’ whilst you are out so your packages aren’t left out in the open for everyone to see.
– Hubs are great to use and companies like Amazon will have Safe Package Delivery Hubs where your parcels will be delivered to a local shop, which you can later collect.
