Message from Lichfield District Council
Meaningful Proportions

On a bi-annual basis, Lichfield District Council is required to transfer a proportion of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds raised to the relevant parish councils, referred to as the ‘Meaningful Proportion’. Funds received between April-September will be passed onto the relevant parish council no later than 28th October of the same year. Funds received between October-March will be passed onto the relevant parish council no later than 28th April of the same year. For further information in regards to how the Meaningful Proportions are calculated, how they should be spent, and when they should be spent by, can be found within the attached ‘A Guide to Community Infrastructure Levy for Parish Councils’, and also the ‘Parish CIL spending guidance’.

October Transfers & details request: It is now approaching the time in which the funds received between April-September 2021 are due to be transferred. It has been calculated that Whittington and Fisherwick Parish Council will receive £6,976.84 for this period. Please find below a breakdown of the CIL funds received for this period.
